Andrew Hutcheson
Andrew Hutcheson has been passionate about fitness & cycling for as long as he can remember. From participating in cricket and football to boxing and kickboxing as a youngster he always showed a great interest in exercise and training. The love of cycling started soon after with him competing in various Mountain Bike races. The body became the engine and needed the best fuel and a solid training regime to get results or just be competitive. Now with good cardio fitness and Lance Armstrong tearing up the competition in France through his dominant 7 in a row tour wins, it was time to have a go at Road Racing.
Andrew still wanted to get more out of his body and keep taking his cycling to the next level so he hired a cycling coach to pursue his goals further. He saw immediate results as his coach designed a suitable regime get the most out of his training whilst working long hours and maintaining a work/life balance.
This is where Andrew’s passion for gym based strength and conditioning began. His coach designed a program for him which taught him how to gain strength, prevent injury, work on core stability and manage body fat levels better than before.
These things are important for cycling with a strong emphasis on power to weight but this experience can also be applied to your fitness goals.
